Default is your gas pedal height too low?

Hello I'm new to the S2000 community and I recently bought a 2007 Honda S2000. Previous car was an Evo 8 MR and I have always used the heel-toe technique daily. In the AP2v2 S2000 I noticed the gas pedal height is much lower than the brake pedal height and this makes it harder to do the heel-toe technique. My feet are not wide enough to do the left toe to pinky toe technique either. Before you flame me I did a search and found this - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/872...toe-technique/

My question is... since its an AP2v2 with a DBW system, I was wondering if its possible to adjust the gas pedal height? Or is adding an aftermarket adjustable pedal the only option?

Some people have added an extension on the left side of the pedal. But personally I just rotate my foot at the ankle and do an actual HEEL toe for the blip, and that works fine. Heel on the gas, toe on the brake.

Makes me think about digging around in the garage to locate my "Paddy Hopkirk" (if you don't know who that is, well...) bolt-on throttle pedal extension. True, it's designed to fit an early Mini, bought it for my Miata and never fitted, might help on the S2000 which I admit is not easy to H&T. Basically a plate with a tongue off the RH side to close the gap between the pedals.

If you're really serious about heel-toe driving, you're probably tracking the car. IMO there is no one size fits all solution. I'd have something fabbed up taking into consideration your foot size and height.
