There are many threads on this site about Zaino. If you need further information, call Zaino (check or money order) directly (number in website), or an authorized dealer like "The Gloss Boss" (credit card) in Indianapolis. I have talked to both; they are both very good to deal with; will tell you exactly what you do and don't need.

Make sure any 100% cotton towel is made in USA, since most others (especially those made in Pakistan) contain dyes that WILL harm your paint. I was told the USA products do not contain these dyes. I had both and noticed the difference between the two after only one detailing session.

Wow sooo many responses in such little time. Thanks you guys for giving me such great info on zaino. I figured I could hear the results from other s2k owners and all I'm hearing is how good it is to use zaino. I'd like to thank everyone in this forum for helping me out you guys are a great help. I'll keep you guys posted on how the zaino works with my02' berlina black s2k. Hopefully I can post pictures of it also. I'm thinking of getting the products through their website and send them a check. By two weeks I should get the stuff right?
again thanks!

I heard that Zaino has reformulated the Z-2 polish. Can anybody confirm this?

As far as I understand, there have been no changes to Z-2. However, Zaino now manufactures a product which makes Z-2 cure faster. It is an additive you purchase separately.

I also just got a '02 Berlina Black. And cannot wait to add Zaino. For those of you who own black, what is your wax/wash procedure and do you have any good tips on keeping the black flawless?

I haven't even waxed the car yet. It only has 101 miles on it. It has only been washed once and that was by me. I didn't let the dealer wash it. I actually drove the car home with the white protective tape still on it. I was just wondering how others maintain their black S2000s.
