I was under the impression that many of these popular new car care products, including Zaino, are simply carnuba disolved in alcohol. Easy to wipe on, the alcohol evaporates, wipe off the haze. viola!
correct me if im wrong.

Zaino has no wax... supposed to be all synthetic stuff. http://www.zainobros.com for more info.

Sorry S2.001K,

Zaino is no ordinary wax!

It's made from a secret ingredient which has been unknown to the general public -- until now!

Here's a picture of the source of the key ingredient used in Zaino

And here's a picture of Zaino employees at their last annual [secret] picnic

And here's a map to their factory -- don't let the cover name fool you!

This is about as close to an Area 51-type secret as you'll find in the automotive aftermarket world!

Here's a former Zaino employee who was forced to take early retirement [note his semi-gloss forehead]

Perhaps there is some downside to long-term exposure to the secret Zaino ingredient?

A quote from the Zaino site:

NOTE: One application of Zaino Z-2 or Z-5 will outlast anything in the industry and is all you'll ever need for an average vehicle. However, Multiple coats will achieve an even deeper, wetter-looking, ultra high gloss. Plus higher paint protection. It's up to you....You be the judge...
