Default ZAINO and Wax. Compatible? Redundant?

Before I bought my s2k (actually before joining this site), I had never heard of Zaino. Have their kit on order. I am wondering if, once Zaino is applied, it is necessary or adviseable to wax. Is there a compatibility issue? Is it a redundant waste of time? I am sure I am not at all alone in saying that I actually LIKE to wash and wax my cars. After "zaino-ing" , will I still be able to use my trusty Cyclo polisher? Hope these aren't considered to be dumb questions. Thanks.

You can use wax as a topper but I either wait until the carnauba wears off or I wash my car with dawn if I want to reapply Zaino. It serves no purpose to put Zaino on top of a freshly or recenlty waxed car.

If you are going to use polish to remove swirls with the cyclo then you'll need to reapply ZAino. If you want to use the cyclo to apply and remove Zaino that is fine.

several of us "sandwich" or layer zaino and carnuba...
as ubetit says, make sure that you have a good base of zaino before sandwiching.

i like the combo for the depth and for the better dust control

What carnuba do you use? How is PS21 wax? Would you recommend buying the whole show kit, or just getting the basic? Sorry for all the questions in a row... I am somewhat out of the loop... Thanks for the help...

P21s is great I use it a lot. Mainly as a topper - you could do a lot worse

i like several p21s products, but would never buy a "kit", cause they always contain something you would prefer to have another product for in my experience.

btw, p21s is my fav carnuba

P21S is an excellent product and gives a lovely beading to any rainfall.

Not that the US gets any rain of course!
