My 00 TPS is failing. I have an 05 TPS and my question is are they the same?

 

I did not attempt to buy another throttle body to try to replace the original with another original. I bought an aftermarket one for my '04. It does not sit at quite the dame angle but it only required a small adjustment to set the parameters to specification correctly. I think that it was a Blox but I'm not sure. I made the change about 3 years ago.

However, since the voltage range parameters in the service manual are the same for the year range 00-05, it appears that if you managed to remove a TPS from another throttle body, it should work.
