Exclamation '02 S2000 Engine Swap and Failure to start

I recently had two cylinders loose compression and the local Honda dealer quoted $7,300 just to figure out what was wrong with my S2000 (not to fix it). As an alternative, I purchased a F20C from Japan and did the swap myself. After fully reconnected every wire, hose, and harness the car failed to start. Turning the key to the ‘on’ position all of the dash lights up normally. Once you press the start button the ABS light turns on for three seconds (with no sound, hum, or response) before the abs light turns back off. Has anyone run into this before?

I've tried both US and Japanese ECUs with no change.

ground wire.

which dealership tried to charge $7,300 for a diagnosis? i'm curious how they came up with the $300 instead of rounding down to $7,000 or $7,500, or why not make it more exact at $7,386.39

i would have had to put it on paper and describe the procedure and labor hours associated with each procedure.

would really like to see how they justify charging $7,300 for diagnosis.

So....the car is not even turning over? Or it turns over but will not fire?

Ended up just being a ground wire that wasn't connected appropriately.
