Default 06 - 09 CDV Removal, Possible?

Hey Peeps,

I just wanted to know if it was possible to remove the Clutch Delay Valve from the Ap2 V2 years(06 - 09).

From my personnal experience, I know a lot of Ap2 V1 (04 - 05) owners have this mod done to their cars.

Thanks!

I'm sure you can, it's the same master cylinder according to honda's website.

Yes, please search. you can either drill it out of your current slave cylinder or replace it with an ap1 slave.

I removed mine shortly after I got the car and I don't recall any drilling involved. You need to remove it though and disassemble it. I remember there being a circlip that is a mighty pita to remove but don't recall it being that hard overall. Beats having to buy an ap1 slave imo. You should be able to find the thread via searching.

Drill it out? I have done several and never once had to drill anything out.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to attempt the removal of my CDV this weekend.
