Default ap1 slave cylinder in ap2

Sup guys I just swapped an ap1 slave cylinder in my ap2 because I hated the lag. Anyways I've been pumpin the clutch trying to get it stiffer for half an hour and its not gettin any harder. Any idea? i just did this in my ek a few months back with no problems. I've searched all the diy and found nothing. anybody ever had this problem? any advice?

Billman250 (the S2K mechanic) says the only way to properly bleed the clutch is to remove the slave cylinder and hold it upright so that the bleeder is the highest point. Do not touch the pedal. Let it gravity bleed.

Also, place something under the clutch pedal to keep it from falling. A Guinness can works perfectly.
