"About" is pretty vague when you want an exact answer. 65 mph in 6th gear is about 3500 rpm.
Unless you can say exactly what rpm you are indicating when you are going any given speed, an exact answer can't be given. One can only speculate that your car has a different final drive gear in the rear diff and you have a speed compensator to offset the gears.

If you have gears and a speed compensator, checking on your own may not be enough. You need to find a reliable speed source and get tracked. Drive to a predetermined speed as indicated by the other source (another vehicle or police car or GPS or radar) and note the exact mph and rpm (and in what gear) on the "mark". Come back here and post it and then we can give you some idea of what you've got.

You could also look under your dash or near the ecu and see if you have a speedo modifier installed... Just a thought.
