are you sure your shifting into 6th, when my dad kept driving my car he kept going to 4th for some reason,.. hah.

On my stock S, exactly 4k rpm is 73-74mph. Thats where I set the cruise control and relax!

well i checked it today.. its about 3000-3200 at 60-62 mph, and about 3700-4000RPM at about 70mph. this help?

Stock, right at 4k RPM @ 70 in 6th is generally dead on... Mine is...
Is yours varying from 3700 to 4000 RPMs in 6th @ 70mph?
Should read a certain RPM @ a certain MPH...

You keep saying "about" and giving a range. Can't you just go out and set the damn cruise control and once it stabilizes, read off what it says? This should not be such a tough thing to do.
