Default 115,000 Miles, should I replace the Timing Chain?

So I just bought my 2003 S2K and it has 115,000 miles. Should I go ahead and replace the timing chain or do I not have to replace the chain? I am kind of new to the timing chain thing.
Thanks!!!

Never seen one replaced unless it breaks or loose or making noise. But once it breaks its too late. I think i read somewhere that honda recomends replacing it at 180k.

not needed unless yours experiences issues. It would be a pretty expensive replacement job. Many Honda owners of older vehicles confuse it with the old timing belts system.

It has no recommended replacement interval from Honda.

Many cars have gone over 200K + without an issue. I'd leave it alone.

I've never heard an owner say their chain broke or needed to be replaced. I'm not saying it never happens, but if it happened a lot we'd be seeing a lot more posts about it.

I think the maintenance schedule says the timing chain should be checked at 100k.

Never?

Hasport snapped their chain during one of the Long Beach races last year, it's rare in street application but it's not impossible.

inspect to see if it's stretched out, reuse if not

Read my first post again (the one you quoted but didn't read)...

"I'm not saying it never happens, but if it happened a lot we'd be seeing a lot more posts about it."

I specifically said that to avoid being quoted by people who have heard the few stories about timing chains breaking and think I'm saying they never break.
