Default 12v souce problem

I got this problem with my 12v plug....it seems to cut out with the radio but it will come bacck on if I plug my phone charger in and pull it back out, doesn't happen all the time but I figured I would post up before tracing wired to see if I can find something.

There is a nut at the back of the plug that frequently comes loose from people twisting their accessory plugs when putting them in or pulling them out (don't do that).

If you have small hands, you may be able to remove a few of the interior pieces and get your hand back there to tighten it.

Do some searching in this forum...there are some instructions out there to fix this (might even be in the FAQ...not sure though).

It'll go out completely eventually and keep burning out the 12v fuse. Might as well take it apart now while it's still working and save the headaches. I went with no radio/music for 4 days and it drove me crazy.

Theres a DIY here thats very simple to follow
