1st gear problems
Stepping on the clutch fast won't let me put the car into gear, stepping on the clutch slowly allows me to put it into gear, I haven't really noticed if it's from cold or not... plz give me your thoughts on what my issue might be.

It's normal.
You cannot step on the clutch and immediately push it in first. The transmission mainshaft and disc are still spinning at 1000rpm and need to slow to a stop. First and second gear are also spinning on the countershaft, which also need to come to a stop with the mainshaft.
I just put a first gear syncro and gear collar in a CR transmission for this reason. The customer would try to force it in first immediately after pushing the clutch and fried the syncro (first gear syncro in an AP2 trans is brass, not carbon fiber)
Clutch, pause, shift. Or clutch, light shifter pressure, it will go in first when its ready (mainshaft is braked to a stop by shifter pressure)
