Or you could just buy the Japanese version and get the stroker kit.

I'm actually planing a core exchange with Honda Twin Cam... I'd rather have them built and break in the engine, then have it ripped apart by someone with little to no experience with the F20C.. As for BPA being the only to offer this kit, that's not entirely true... They actually purchase many products through my friend's importing group out of Cali.. My friend is the one who organized the core exchange... As for boost, you can, but you will have to take all the same precautions as you would if you were building a block to boost, and take into consideration the materials used in the pistons and con. rods... Keep it low, and you'll be fine... The tuning shop I go to is testing an S2k with 18 psi and have had no failure so far, but I wouldn't hope for anything like that with the 2.3 .... as for how it works, many of the previous comments were correct... the displacement is altered but a stroked crank, different connecting rod lengths and piston heads... if you look at the F20 with the head off, the cylinder walls are already very thin, which is why HTC/Feels chose this method, which retains the structural integrity of the walls...

I know that the redline stays the same with the kit... so long as you have the ECU that is, or comparable ecu tuning (power FC, F con).... this does not nessicarily mean more wear and tear... you can't validate this until you know what material the internals are made of...

in the latest "Options" mag, they have 2.3 built motors for sale, I just bought the mag yesterday, but can not read japanese. It was a pic of the motor with "f23tc" and some crazy yen price 740,000Y, 280 hp claimed with a dyno pic, or the stroker kit for 480,000Y. It is febuary issue, page 104. the shop is Honda Twin cam, tel :03(3394)7001.

Good luck with it!

As I Stated before People at feels does not Speak English, so I would Recommend that write a Fax in Japanese, You can write in English and have a friend to translate it into Japanese.

If you still want to buy It Email to bluewave@cityfujisawa.ne.jp Att. to Mr Toshio, he represent Feels for overseas sales.

You can say that Juan Mezerhane from Spain referred to him
