2006 ECU in a 00-03

Apparently the 2006 ECU is reflashable. Has anyone looked into mounting a 2006 ECU into an older S2K? 2005 ECU's only $510. I can't find a price on a 2006 yet.

Could it be a cheap replacement for an AEM EMS?

Not a feasable swap. Take a look at the Sticky at the top of the UTH forum about the MY06 changes. Too many systems changed with the 06.

I find it interesting Pre 06 owners want a reflashable PCM, and the 06 owners want an AEM EMS that works with DBW.
