Does anyone know what the latest honda factory pcm/ecu flash version is for the 2006 S2000?

Or, does anyone know if there have been any updates from honda so far?

Does anyone know how to tell what pcm/ecu version they currently have?

I asked my dealer and they were as helpful as you might imagine

(I know that in the RX-8 community, factory pcm/ecu reflashes/updates come out pretty regularly, especially when the RX-8 was first introduced.)

 

There are no OEM reflashes available for the 06 at this time. There are also no recalls/TSB's covering a reflash.

 

The 2007 ECU has part number 37820-PZX-A11;

The 2006 ECU has part number 37820-PZX-A09;

Apparently, Hondata's ECU reflash upgrades only work on the A09 part number so far, according to their website they won't do the A11 part (yet?).

Two questions (one a repeat on this thread with some time gone by).

(1) Is there still no factory/OEM ECU update for the '06?

(2) Anyone have any clue how the '07 ECU is different from the '06?

There is no documentation from Honda covering a revised PCM flash for either models. Honda doesn't provide the information on what changed in the programming, or if they just changed the part #.
