Default 2006 S2000, engine swap in 2008 engine

Will I have any issues if I swap in a 2008 engine into my 2006 s2000 that has a bad motor? Do I just need the engine or engine and ecu? Is it a direct swap?

Assuming both cars/engines are from the same region (North America or Europe or Asia etc), there aren't any incompatibilities

It will swap right in.

Use your original ECU

Are there any improvements in the 2008 engine over the 2006?

Same caveats regarding valve clearances apply.
