Default 3-point Harness

Getting some aftermarket bucket seats and was wondering if you would be able to install 3-point harnesses for the seats? Where would I mount it to and would it be safe?

Or should I just stick with 4-points?

My car is a daily driver and I don't go to the track if that matters.
Thanks

I read that link before but it doesn't say anything about aftermarket 3-point harnesses.

But it does cover the safety aspects of harness mounting. Not sure what you are trying to gain by replacing the OEM 3 point belt with an aftermarket one.

It sounds like you're describing a system that uses a Y-shaped shoulder harness attachment. These suffer the same deficiences as a 4-point system. They are difficult to mount properly without aftermarket attachment points and they are likely to ride up onto your abdomen and cause serious injury during frontal accidents.

Don't do it for style if you care about safety. Stick with your OEM restraints.
