Default 3k rev limit, trouble starting

I have a recently rebuilt head. I just put the motor back together on Monday. Today I went to double check the valve lash and readjusted all the valves. When I put everything back together again I could not get it to start. It cranks but nothing happens. I checked all the vacuum lines all the sensors, coil pack, anything that I touched while doing the valve adjustment. I did do the adjustment with the plugs in place, but apart from making the crank harder to turn, this should not affect anything.

Finally I get the motor to start by unplugging and plugging in the intake cam sensor while a friend was cranking the starter. It started but sounded like it was misfiring. I pulled the fuel injector harnesses one by one to see if that made a difference, each had an effect so no new info from that.

Then I reset the ecu and tried again, same issue. I used the paper clip trick to pull the codes, the only new one was P0341, which is TDC sensor. I then swapped the two cam sensors, same issue. Then I unplugged each sensor while the motor was running, this caused it to die. So I think the sensors are atleast working somewhat.

Any suggestions? Could I have pinched a wire near the firewall, or maybe bent a tooth in the plate in the back of the cams? It's too dark now to check.

Check cam shaft sensors. If it's an F22C there should be 2 total.

Could be cam timing. If the ECU sees improper positing of the cams to the crank it will not run. Unplugging the sensors may somehow let it run out of time.

It was the exhaust cam, it was off by one tooth, and I could swear that I had them lined up perfectly two days ago. It's really hard to believe that it ran for two days and did not complain about the timing difference, not only did it run, but it sounded great Its also weird that it noticed it after I did a valve adjustment.

I was worried about bent valves so I did a compression test I got 230 across all four, plus or minus 2.5. I guess everything is allright.
