4.77's
i still don't kno which one to get, 4.44 4.56 4.57 4.77?
I decided the 4.77 because the freeway with highest speed limit here is only 100kmh (60mph) and I can get away with 4.77 travelling 60mph
There are freeways with higher speed limits here but those are mainly interstates which I never go on to, and if I do travel interstate its less likely I use the s2000
So I guess it depends on the speedlimits on the roads that you go through assuming your car is a daily driver

now we'll see if 4.77's + 230whp - some weight will get me in the very high 12's

with 4.77 you have to shift into 5th and that shift will slow your 1/4 mile time.in the 1/4, 4.56 and 4.77 will net you the same time.just from what i read
but once you get it down its really easy,
never lift to shift

til you miss and over rev and blow your engine up
get an axial flow short shifter.. it made 4th-5th just like 2nd-3rd. reverse is also ridiculously easy to get into. my throw with a TWM countersunk knob is ~1.5". thats short. i have 4.77's and a comptech sc waiting to be installed
cant wait to transform my car!

It's actually 4850-4900 at 5k rpms. It's only 300 rpms above 4.57s. Gas mileage does suffer on the highway but your city mileage should be slightly better than before.

I must have over 200+ power shifts on my trans, all gears...... the thing still shifts like butter.
