Default 43,000 miles maintenance ?

Hi there

I just recently bought my s2000. Its an 07 used. The only thing I've done so far is change my engine oil. I'm thinking about changing my transmission oil sometimes this week. Is there anything else that need to be done. My S is currently at 43,000 miles

Thanks

Ryan,

i would do the diff fluid/tranny fluid/bleed brakes and clutch. especially since your at an even number it will be easy to remember the next fluid change. reason i say bleed the brakes and clutch is because over time brake fluid absorbs moisture, Its hygroscopic.

Yeah thats pretty much it. You might just want to check your cabin filter real quick since its easy to get it. Its under the black plastic peice below the windsheild on the passenger side. It pulls right out. I just changed mine and I dont even see how air could get past it since it had so much dirt/lint/debris in it.

Not maintenance related, but just to prevent grief: get yourself a set of seat locks. Nothing worse than opening your car only to see the seats gone.
