Default 5w20 oil

well, i have been lazy for awhile now. i got my oil changed about 3 months ago or 4k miles back by bale honda. for the past 3-2 weeks i have been hearing this audible ticking noise. it's is not the normal ticking or as loud as the videos i have seen with the TCT or spun bearings. so i go get my oil changed at another honda dealership far away from my normal one, bale honda, called honda world because it is close to my college. and they were checking my car for a few things and they notice a little small sticker that was taped or sticked to the top of my windshield telling me when to change my oil and the type of oil. turns out they put 5w20 in my car. i was just wondering if putting 5w20 in my car for 4000 miles did anything bad to my car.

FWIW, a s2ki member works at honda world and said the noise wasnt my valves because i asked if the noise was my valves needing to be adjusted. but he really didnt say everything was fine.

thank you
alan

There have been 5W(or 0W, I don't remember)-20 UOA's (Used Oil Analysis) posted here, used in an S2000.
Showed no extra wear at all.

Most dino 10W-30 oils shear down to a 20 weight within 3000 miles.
UOA's show no extra wear at all.
