Default ? About Diff. Oil

I was wanting to know what is the best diff. oil to use for our cars. RedLine/Mobil1/Valvoline....I am fixing to change it out and I wanted to get a synthetic gear oil that will be better than the factory specs oil. Any info what be greatly appreciated.

i had good luck with mobil 1 75w90, the rear end seems quieter now.

check out the section on "Additives" and see what Lucas additive did to a perfectly good diff lube - I do not use additives, and if I were to consider one, I would test its miscibility in a beaker before even putting one drop in a sealed aluminum housing!
