ABS concern

Some additional thoughts:
The ABS will run a self-check after start-up (ignition on) of the car, but the pump will first self-check after the car starts driving low speed below 10 km/h which roughly is 7 mph. This is why your observation about 7 mph is interesting. Maybe your ABS unit is seeing a 'start-up' of the vehicle more often, so I would first check the connections to the unit.
Please let us know how things evolve!

P.S. Was your car damaged and fixed at one point?

I have seen this before. You have a speed sensor going bad, the problem is that it may not set a code. You need to get an oscilloscope/lab scope to find the problem.
Attach the scope to each wheel sensor and spin the wheel, observe the wave worm to each other. Hope this helps you.
