AC slowly dying

Yep, if the high side isn't moving then there's a restriction, or you have air/ moisture in the system.

As it turns out, the compressor is just weak. Im honestly surprised that at 40k miles its out of juice. the Dryer helped a little but not enough for the heat of florida summers.

It's all in how you charge the system. If there's air in the system it'll make the compressor seem weak. I have a used compressor in my car and the AC blows nice and cold. Im in FL as well.

Speaking of charging the system, I just replaced the compressor and filled it up to the proper psi, but im not getting cold air at all. not when moving or at idle. I think I have a blockage in the system because I put barely any refrigerant in and it already reads correct psi. Not sure what to turn to next...

You can't rely on low side pressure, you charge the system by weight, not pressure.

Did you vacuum the system of air?
