Default Adding rubber and mesh to CF hood, Help!

When installing a CF hood do you attach the rubber seal that wraps around the front of the OE hood?

Also I want to add mesh to the air inlet in my hood, anyone know where to get the material (hopefully stales steel) and how do you attach it?

THANKS!

There is really no need to post this twice in separate forums.

I realized that the first posting was in the wrong category. I was hoping that if I put it in the right category I might get some responses to help.

Here are two pics of my hood. I cut out the areas inside the hood support structure. I left 1/2 inch for the mounting of the mesh. I bought some aluminum mesh on EBAY trimmed it to fit the holes and painted it black. It is simply glued in with black silicon.
