Negcamber... Was your car na or boosted?
All NA...for now at least. I bought the EMS anticipating either going with a smaller turbo or a stroker...then the economy tanked. But I've really enjoyed the EMS for NA.

Top down will impact fuel economy...but it normally is only 2-3mpg.

Does your local gas have a higher ethanol content maybe?

not that i know of, if gas stations do use e10 they have to have a sign that says so. I get gas at the same place every time and they dont have a sign so i assume there is no ethanol.

what mods do you have?

Basic bolt-ons: AEM v2, toda header, T1r header back 63mm exhaust. And 4.57 gears...not a power adder of course.

Nice thread ! I just purchased a 1052 box and have been tinkering around with it . I have to say that the stock(base)ap1 table is ok . In my car its on the rich side according to my wideband . Also comparing to the hondata kpro software the ems timing maps are in some areas 10 full degrees off . Having tuned quite a few hondata cars the aem software can be intimidating !

I put the airbox lid on last night. I just got to work and the thing is coming off before i leave.

the car just feels alot more sluggish all around. I had to take out about 8% fuel past 5000 rpms (which tells me that its making less power). air temps might be a little lower once they settle, but the variance is HUGE. While sitting at a long stop light on Wake forest road today i saw over 160 degrees, on the highway (after about 10 mins) they came down to 118.

the MOST i have seen with the lid off is 140, and they come down ALOT faster to the 115-120 range.

the lid changed the tune quite a bit. something i really didnt expect. This could be the reason for such mixed dyno results on stock ecu'd cars.
