Red face AEM UEGO Installation

I have the new AEM UEGO gauge with wideband O2 sensor. I wanted to install it on my car for now with the stock ECU (before I get the EMS and Turbo).

1)If I were to replace the stock O2 sensor with the AEM one, how would the stock ECU read the O2 signal?

2)Would I need to connect the UEGO's white 0-5v analog output to the ecu?

3)If so does anyone know which wire on the ecu it is?

Thanks

Can you post a pic of the display? So much talk about this and I've not seen a pic of it. It displays in terms of A/F?

It does display A/F.

Mine is mounted right above the start button, which worked out great. I can't remember who on S2KI suggested it ... but thanks.

Thanks Xviper, I've already read that thread but I'm going to be using the stock ecu for now and wanted to know how to install the uego with it without the CEL going off.

You could always take it to a muffler shop and have them drill and weld the bung that was supplied.

I think the AEM UEGO has a wire to send out the narrowband 1v signal. I lost my little manual thing that came with it so I dont know. If it has a narrowband signal, then someone here just has to post up which pin on which connector on the stock ECU the primary O2 sensor is on.

It has a wire to send out a 0-5v analog signal to an ECU but I need to know where on the ecu wiring I need to tap it to.

If anyone is interested:
I found the answer. The white wire from the UEGO goes to the #16 pin connector on the ECU plug. (all white wire)

Congrats on finding your answer, Did or will you add an additional bung or can you use the secondary sensor hole on your cat/test pipe and is there enough cable to reach the cat?
Thanks

It'd be the same wire that goes to the AEM EMS...duh. I dunno why I didn't think of that.

I wouldn't put a wideband post-cat converter since accuracy would get off.

Good to see you got the wideband and already started putting it on
