Default Air box mod

Ok... I have seen threads that talk about removing the restrictor plate to increase air flow, and that is what I have done. But should I remove the flow routing system on the inside of the top of the air box to? I have looked for threads but can not find any that discuss this issue.

Thread references will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think many people respond to intake mod questions because they are so abundant (emphasis not exempt). I've actually played a lot with my stock air box and kept mine on, but removed the "plastic wall" found inside the bottom part of the box that sits in front of the air cleaner element with a dremel took because this seems to restrict how much air the cleaner can suck in.

The tube that routes air in front of the box is actually there to route cold air from the front air damn upwards. If you can see in front of the radiator fins, there is a plastic cover that has small slits in it to route air towards the tube that sticks out from the airbox. I just cut a bigger hole in the plastic cover that sits between the radiator and airbox.

All in all, you really can't tell a big difference. The intake is produced by Honda to complement the high revs of the F20C motor while also providing a quiet ride.

I removed both...with the restrictor plate removed the router serves no purpose...the router is there to route the air over the plate.
