air intakes in front fairing...?
Has anyone explored using the two plugged air vent/driving light openings as an air intake? I have the materials that would work well, but I am new to the S2K community, and I don't know if it will be beneficial to do so. I recall a lot of 87-93 Mustangs that removed the right side driving light, and installed a duct to the airbox for increased air flow. Are the aerodynamics of the S2000 similair to this? Or would the rest of the fairing simply deflect the air around the vent-hole and actually decrease airflow? I have an '01 that is still stock. My first mod will be a K&N filter, followed most likely by an exhaust. Any and all recomendations are welcome. I am only familiar with Domestic V-8's, 240hp from 2.0litres is a new concept for me, and I can use all the help and advice I can get!!!
I humbly bow before you all!!!

So I can assume that the aerodynamics of the front fairing (my biggest worry) will complement what I am trying to do?
Thank you for your response.
(I am actually using parts from a Rolls Royce AE2100 Turbo-Prop engine)
