I am curious, how did you know the car was running lean? Wide band? I would love to know the numbers because I am amazed at how Honda tuned this ECU to run like a turbo car.

cheers

That's wonderful I agree, but was there any logging of A/F ratio with wide band? Please share the info if you have it.

cheers

I know what it is. Thanks Dan. I thought he was able to determine with the Toda the car ran lean and required more fuel. I am asking how did you know it was lean? I would like to see the wideband results to compare to my run with the Mugen which showed me I was running pig rich...richer than my rx-7!

A dyno doesn't tell you anything in my opinion (based on the money I spent dyno tuning my rx7 for years) if there is no logging of vital data, especially A:F with a 5 volt O2 sensor.

I am sure he runs air/fuel on the dynapack. I've seen the graphs.

I always thought he tuned by the smell / flavor of the exhaust...
