so i was driving in the rain and all of the sudden i started to hear bad diff noise like in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nzOPfRznJw). i only heard the noise in1-3rd gear but 4-6th gear i never heard the noise again. i went for a drive after rain stopped the noise never came back. what do you guys think blow diff???

if it was the diff, it would be there all the time, reguardless of the gear.

 

If yo uare truely worried, a way to check is just to drain the diff fluid and see what comes out. Its only a 10 dollar job but in the long run might save you some headache.
