Everything Looks original and untouched so I'd say 45k. I don't notice any clutch slip.

Anyone have any experience with fuel vapor lock? When I open the gas cap I hear air rushing. Not sure if it's going sucking or blowing.

You might have the same problem as my car have!

We have checked everything and i mean EVERYTHING...you are not going to find the proplem!!!

The only "solution" is to buy an aftermarket ECU...! When they first told me that i laughed...i said no way...i will find the problem...well i haven't!!!

And those who told me for the aftermarket ECU...were people who have experienced the same symptoms and eventually gave up.

I have talked to many people here who have the same problem, and from my understanding it's a factory malfunction...but go figure after ~17 years that the car is in the market!

I've had other ap1s. I don't believe that this is a factory malfunction but i'm inclined to entertain the idea. To solve that problem would be standalone or kpro. I don't want to go that route yet considering costs, although this car WILL eventually be boosted.

I noticed the fuel pump was VERY quiet compared to other s2ks I've had. I could barely hear the buzz when I turned on this ignition. My next step i'm guessing would be to remove the pulse damper in the fuel rail and attach a gauge. I also pulled each coil while the car was on. The #4 coil didn't change the engine rpm like the other 3 did. I yanked it off 4 times and the engine didn't change much. I'll go ahead and replace this coil and go from there.

I'm not saying it's a problem on all s2ks!

As fas as the fuel pump, i have measure both pressure and l/h!

Measure L/h by letting it run into a bucket? What would be the cleanest route?

I took it to a workshop to do it for me, along with the injectors (clean, measure). I think they put it in a machine or something...
