eh?

If you blew your diff, the car would not be driveable...... And what do you mean by "blew your diff". What broke? and how do you know? again, if you broke a pinion, ring gear, or the LSD, you would not be able to drive the car.

I felt no difference in drivability, I have a clinking noise that is speed dependant, I dont hear it when thier is a load on the drivetrain (like engine braking or accelerating. when I lift my car and spin the tire the opposite tire spins the same directon for a few turns, stops turning then continues in the same direction. I havent had time to pull everything apart yet but im going to drop everything on saturday.

If you have a clinking noise, yet you can drive the car, you did NOT destroy your diff, ring gear, pinion, lsd, etc. You could have a bad wheel bearing, or you could have a bad pinion bearing. If you had snapped a tooth off of anytihng in your diff, which would cause a clinking, you wouldn't even be able to drive the car for very long, as the shearing forces, and the tooth roaming around inside the diff would take out more teeth and possibly even the LSD.

Your diff is not bad.
