Default Any MY04-05 diff failures?

I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of differential failures - under any circumstances - in the '04 or '05 cars?

I'm coming around to the idea of 4.56 gears and am wondering if a comptech reinforced diff is "highly recommended".

Thanks for all info...

It really depends on what you plan on doing down he road. If you see forced induction in your future (turbo, Supercharger) than it is a good idea to consider it now. The cost to install the diff housing is the same to install the gears. So if you install both at the same time, you save.

The MY04/05 diff is stronger then stock, but the Comptech is strong then both. IMHO
