I am upgrading to the AP2 front bumper on my AP1 and I purchased the 2 new fender liners for the AP2 bumper, but I did not purchase the middle part that connects to the bumper between the 2 fender liners. Is that the same for AP1 to AP2?

You actually didnt need the fender liners, the part that is different is the middle of the undertray. It does not reach the bumper all the way but the side bolt up. I have had mine like this on my AP1 and have not had any problems. Just make sure to tighten up the bolts really good.

You've got it backwards. The AP1 fender liners do not reach the mounting holes on the AP2 bumper. The AP2 fender liners have extra tabs mounted on them to reach the AP2 bumper.

 

Well either way I am screwed now as I have the AP1 fender liners, so can I use some long zip ties to take up the gap between the bumper and the L + R fender liners.

Damn this sucks.
