Hi,

anyone knows if a differential from a 2005 should fit/work in a 2002 ? I am slowly planning gear change and I would like to use a 2005 diff core to do so...

The AP1 diff and tranny use a M8 bolt to mate with the prop shaft. The AP2 uses an M10 bolt. So this means it is not plug and play.

To install an AP2 diff on and AP1 drive line.
1. Replace the diff input flange (See Xvipers notes above)
OR
1. Replace the output flange on the transmission (100)
2. Replace the prop shaft (600)

I have an AP2 drive line on my AP1.
