Default AP1 exhaust on AP2

I heard there are some difference in the length that the exhaust tips stick out/recess. Can any one clear this up for me?

Thanks in advance

It fits fine, at least up to 05, but isn't the piping under the car slightly different 06+? If you like the AP1 tips, just switch that.

sorry i guess i should just clarify even further...

I was aiming to put an aftermarket exhaust for an AP1 (Tanabe SHM or whatever it's called) on my AP2. I read somewhere that the placement of the exhaust mufflers cause the tips either to stick out or be recessed.

Tanabe lists only an application for S2000s up to 2005, so you may have minor fitment issues, nothing a big hammer couldn't fix. The Hyper Medallion is now discontinued, replaced with the Touring Medallion, but it's still a great exhaust, quiet with a nice growl around town.

The only thing I'm concerned with is how far the tips stick out. Anyone have an idea?
