Default Ap1 Ignition Coils/ Plugs

I’ve got a 2000 s2000. I’ve read that 04-05 ignition coils work for that year ap1 and are considerably affordable. So I was gonna pick up some denso’s from the local auto zone. My question if I go with those ignition coils should I go with ngk plugs that still go with my ap1’s or plugs that would go with the 04-05 coils I just grabbed? And will there be a big driveable difference. Thanks

I would recommend NGK plugs through rock auto(discount code can be found in the marketplace thread). I use NGK ruthenium on NA and Iridium IX on boosted S2000.

NGK has a nice quickie video on the correct way to gap newer plugs; you don't do it the way you used to with older style copper plugs. You also need to use a wire gauge for measurement.
