I also left him a voicemail. He has a weird voicemail system that auto texted me back and wanted me to confirm my contact info so it would automatically get into his contact list. Never came across that before.

BTW, Google and his ISP have his website blocked because they think it's distributing malware. He probably doesn't even know it, but I told him.

Let's see, if you're in eastern time, it's 10:30 and he should have called you back by now....

Never saw a voicemail system like that either.

They definitely shouldve called back by now, not sure whats up with these guys or whats up with Louisiana for having ZERO mechanics to work on my car.

So, two days later now and any call back to you from your messages, my messages or my emails?

BTW, did you notice his website, GorillaRE.com is being blocked by Google for distribution malware? He probably doesn't even know it 'cause he probably never looks at his website or Facebook.

I did a Google Earth search for his address.....very scary looking neighborhood.

Try local word of mouth...dont look on the web, unless someone here on s2ki can vouch for someone.

The old school techs that REALLY understand cars and their working run on word of mouth. No facebook, website, or email.

Ask around, they are out there...I really hope.

Hoping also, but quite discouraged honestly. So ready to have this over with, may end up paying you a visit..

Ooook UPDATE..

The screeching noise that I mentioned last time, ended up being brakes lol, or so I thought!..

As I said, the noise has a squeal or squeak similar to what a turkey call would make. I hear it only during deceleration, brakes engaged or disengaged. Its a rhythmic squeak, somewhat of a CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP as I decel.

Knowing that my rear pads were getting dangerously low, I was thinking that the noise could be my brake wear indicators. Went for a spin with my head out the window(professional driver on closed course), listening closely to try and locate the noise. It seemed like it was coming from the rear brakes so I tackled those this weekend.

I ended up with brakes that were squishier than before aaaaand THE SQUEAL IS STILL THERE!...

Being that it squeals only on decel, with brakes engaged or not, I'm guessing this has something to do with my tranny. Hopefully the power loss/shaky shifter/bad idle/loud squeal are all attributed to the same problem.

As far as the brakes that were squishier than before, I 'll make a post in the 'suspension/brake' forum.

Do you have crank vents?

They can make a chirping/squeal sound.
