OK went after the squeal for my lunch break today...

I checked to make sure the X's on the pistons were lined up with the knob on the pad, which they were, and I made extra sure they went back together the proper way. I went to inspecting, seeing if I could find anything that could make this AWFUL screeching im experiencing. I thought maybe some debris ended up between the dust shield and the rotor, peeked in there and nothing. At this point I'm thinking its something related to under torqued axle nuts, or my diff Any and all help and suggestions are welcomed

And if you get the noise remove the caliper/pads then spin the wheel again and see if it's still there. Process of elimination.

What about jacking up both sides, supporting with axle stands and running in gear to see if that gives you any clues?

Also, when your driving the car and you can hear the noise, does the noise change at all when you put the brakes on? Is the noise more prevalent under acceleration or deceleration?

I'll run in gear with the rear end jacked up, I'll let you know how this works.

No noise under acceleration...Any time I maintain speed or decelerate, it squeaks like HELL. At first it was low RPM squeaking only, now its at all speeds, and is getting louder and louder everyday.

Perhaps you should start a new thread about this problem, may be include a video, you might get more help that way. See if applying the brakes effects the noise. Also, try pulling the hand brake up just a little(untill it bites) whilst driving, to see if that effects the noise.

Forgot to mention, makes the noise whether I brake or not...

Just jacked up the rear end and ran in gear. Noise is now nearly non-existant, went from the loud squealing 'nails on chalkboard' sound to a SLIGHT scraping noise. I spun the wheels up to 30mph and it never got louder than the slight scrape (the squeal usually starts as soon as my car starts to move). I put the car back in neutral and spun the wheel that was making the scraping noise by hand and the scrape is definitely coming from the wheel area, not the diff.
I'm still thinking wheel bearings or something of that nature...Reason being: Now that I think about it, the squealing started shortly after I cornered the car hard for the first couple times about a month ago. Also, the squealing seems to diminish somewhat after I corner the car hard now. Also, I find it weird how the noise is nearly gone when there is no weight on the wheels. Maybe my axle nuts not being torqued to spec caused my wheel bearing to shift in the hub or something? Just brainstorming....

This can figure out where the noise is coming from! Good advice for your clutch and wheel noise. No good mechanic should be without a subscription to Motor and Motor Age magazines!
