Is this AP2 beat?
So I'm looking to buy an S2000 in the next 3 days here, and one of the candidates is a GPW 2004 with 37k miles. The guy is asking $23500. I noticed that the car was "stock" except it had an ARC rad shroud and hood prop shocks. This led me to believe it was modded and parted out at some point. So I got a compression test and leakdown test done at a Honda dealership.

Now it does have a really weak battery, so the compression numbers should be higher, but what about the leakdown? Those numbers seem high to me. When I drove this car and an 07 back to back, they felt almost the same to my butt dyno. Is this car worth buying? Or has it been bagged on by the previous owner?
Thanks!

Well, it's seen kinda weak....could be the battery weakering also. But the most important is that all the # fall in it range.....not to far apart so that's good. What you don't want is that one # is like 230 and the other one is like 185.
Numbers on the low side for mileage....
next time try hooking up a battery charger while doing the test, It could make all the difference.
but just FYI. MY03 with 50k and the Stock4 yr old battery turned out higher numbers than that.
