AP2 Factory Service Manual - Which Ones and Years?
While looking for a factory service manual for my 2004, I have found a AP1 2000-2003 factory manual online (free). Is there a free online version for AP2 2004+ ?
One more question...in going to both eBay and to the Helm site to see what manuals are available for my 2004, I see a several items. One is "Service Manual", and another is "Electrical Troubleshooting" Is the "Electrical Troubleshooting" manual needed for say reading and diagnosing dash light issues (Check Engine, EPS, etc.) or is this covered in the "Service Manual"? Or is it for chasing down crazy wiring and electrical component problem solving?
On eBay, there are 2000-2009 service manuals with a 2nd edition marking....is this better than say a 2000-2004 or 2000-2006 service manual that lacks the 2nd edition marking?
Thanks,
Mike

My 2009-2007 Service Manual is the "First Edition 09/2006 1,856 pages."
Covers models up to 2007. Maybe there's a later edition of this one, who knows. It covers our 2004 as well as my 2006.
These are not friendly manuals. And 1800+ pages doesn't make it easier. For example tools are largely not mentioned other than special Honda tools.

Each year of manufacture generated a shop manual that includes all previous years. The first edition is the first one with the new year model for the dealers. Once any "bugs" or misprints were discovered, the corrected second edition was sent out after a few months. Usually little was changed but there can be some things that are significant.
I have the 09 second edition manual that covers everything- all USA S2000s for every year. As the second edition it is the final, corrected one. (I also have an 09 S) I specified the second edition when I ordered it from eBay. I offered and paid $110 for that as well as the Electrical manual for the same year. It goes into detail everything electric.
I personally like the paper manual to work with on the car. Easier to use and read than trying to get your oil soaked fingers all over an iPad.
