Are the AP2 Frame Rails compatible with an AP1?

The reason I'm asking is that recently I crashed the left/front of my track AP1 into a wall at Sonoma Raceway. The shop working on the repairs has taken it all apart and completed a full assessment. The biggest issue is that I bent the left frame rail beyond repair. They're going to cut it out and weld in a new one. They found this AP2 front clip online and by visual inspection it has everything needed for the repair. However, they are not 100% sure that the parts are identical/compatible between the AP2 and my AP1.

Do you folks happen to know? If not, I'll have to keep looking for AP1 parts of buy new.

 

They're mostly identical, I think there is a small difference in the headlight area.
