Unhappy Ap2 front end conversion

Hi i am in the process of doing the ap2 front end conversion on my02 bumper and headlights. On the headlights i did not order the new ballasts so i am using the old ones from my 02. The problem is now that i had to dremmel out the socket were the ballast go. That was no problem but now i cant get out the shavings out of the housing. ive tried my air compressor to blow it out but no luck. i was thinking of rinsing it out with distilled water but not sure if would mess anything up or leave water spots inside the housing? Any suggestions how to get the shavings out from people who have done the conversion before.

Depends where the shavings are, worse case you can bake and open up the housings to clean it out.

Follow the diffuser install baking instructions on Ricks2k.com website.

Try taping some plastic tubing to your vacuum cleaner hose.

can you see the shavings through the hole? if so why don't you try putting a piece of tape on a wire hanger try and fish it out?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. The pieces were really small and in the corners so i just went ahead and rinsed them with distilled water that did the trick Ill post pics when i am done.
