Search no work... Do any other AP2 owners have a 4th gear whine? That is the only gear that does it, otherwise I love the shift and feel, no other issues. I've changed the MTF with Honda stuff twice, it seems to work great (comes out clean too). Maybe the sound is normal, I don't know.

I don't think it's normal. Has it always done it? If your car is under warranty, have Honda look at it ASAP.

I got it used with 18k miles, it has made the then whine since I got it. It is under warrenty so I will just take it in. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue. I'll have to remove the CAI and TP before I take it in though.

The whine is not normal.

Also, you don't have to remove your mods before going to the dealer. They only can deny your warranty claim if the damage is caused by the mods (I'm not lawyer, but I read the warranty manual ).

They'll be less willing to accept the warranty claim if it's on the edge of warranty (time/miles) or if they're feeling like jerks that day. That said, it's dealer-to-dealer and I don't think CAI and TP are major mods that'll make them freak.

Torn up tires and burned rubber up around the rear of the car WILL make them freak, though
