Someone needs to post up some positive dyno testing on an AP2, I'd be interested in having an extra 1000 RPM's of vtec =)
What should I expect to pay for say 3 passes on a dyno and what type of dyno should I look for??

There are 2 conditions for the VTEC engagement point based on RPM. When TPS reads 95% (WOT) and for conditions under 95%. Typically within a couple hundred RPMs apart from the factory. I am not sure what the upper and lower boundaries are for the F20/F22C, but for the K20A2 stock lower boundary limit was at 5800 RPM and the lower boundary is 6100 RPM. Yes, VTEC engagement will occur under partial throttle but will engage later than when you fully open the throttle.
As mentioned above the optimum point varies from motor, fand lower doesn't necessarily equate to more power.

So what we need is someone with a stock AP2 (04-05), a Buddy Club V-Con controller, and a dyno, where they can adjust VTEC down on back to back dyno runs and see how thepower band changes, say from stock 6k, 5.5k, 5k.
