Default Apexi VTEC AFC

I had one of these installed the other day. My VTEC engaging was definite at 6000 rpm before (whine and kick). Now it is not. Yhe shop used the settings found on this site and said now it kicks in differently.... making it seem less noticeable.

Bullshit or not??

that is what a V-AFC unit is supposed to do.
- Modify Fuel and Air Ratio
- Modify Vtec engagement point to smooth out power curve

Although the Vtec jump is less noticable the power is all there.

Unless they messed with it, it should not have changed your vtec cross over.

If you want to reset it back to stock, then go to initial settings and press yes.
