Default Attaching engine to engine stand

I know this may sound like a trivial thing, but just wondering if anyone has any tips to attching our engines to an engine stand. Do bolts need to go through the stand and then into the block or something?

If anyone has any step by steps, bolt specs or photos, that would be great.

Go to ace hardware and find 8.8 or higher bolts that are the same size and thread as the stock trans to motor bolts. You'll need 3. You also need to pick up a much longer bolt (100+mm long) that will go through one of the holes on the right side of the block that you will have to thread a nut on because there won't be any threads.

It's a lot easier if you bolt the holder part of the stand to the block first then lift it up off the floor and roll the stand part to the block and holder and lock it down.

If you want some pics, let me know. My block is still on the stand.
