Default s2000 Engine Stand

Hiya

Just brought an engine stand for a S2000 block, am I right in thinking I need 4x 8 grade or higher partialy threaded M12 bolts with 1.25mm thread pitch. Also my stand has 60mm length bolt holes, so would a 100mm bolt do the job as there quiet expensive for bolts & want to make sure I order the right ones :0)

Cheers Guys

Do you have the OEM bell housing bolts available?

Thanks for the reply guys, its just a F20C block without the transmision, so not got any transmission bolts :0( Also my engine stand has long connecting bits which are 60mm long (the bit bolt goes through on stand to the block), so need some longish bolts lol

I'm not sure in the UK, but in this part of the world, I take a bolt (or look up the thread pitch) to a hardware store and match it up noting the length I need. The bolts don't have to be the strongest, the motor is light.

Reference my engine stand when I built a motor for my Subaru last year:

Hiya, I dont have the origional transmission bolt for refferance, so was just going to mail order some bolts and wanted to order the right bolts first time. All I wanted to know really was was it M12 I needed and was the thread pitch 1.25p?

Lol....iv read that post already & wasnt conclusive, it mentions M10 & M12 bolts and never actually said for example "you need two M12 & two M10s"

Ill just order both lots then job done
